If the police do catch her on the act, or you have some kind of solid proof she/he is stalking you, the police will put a restraint order on the person, if she does it again, shes going to jail.

Buy a gun, apply for a concealed carry permit, take a handgun training class. I recommend the Smith and Wesson Airweight for a beginner carry gun. Stay away from semiautos. A Mossberg 590 at the bedside does wonders during a home invasion. Sure, you can apply for a protection from abuse order (or the equivalent in your state). In fact, it will look good if she ends up shooting the slimeball. There is a good book called "How not to be victim." It's geared towards women, and it's particularly informative for women in situations like you described.

Unless your daddy works for police, don't expect much to happen.

If the stalker daddys does work for the police (wich i assume your guessing lol), if you do take matters to your own hand and buy a gun and shoot the him/her, youll really be introuble with the law. Remember he can make your self defense plea look like you straight commited man slaughther.
Unless your daddy works for police, don't expect much to happen.

There's not a whole lot you can do, except document everything that the stalker does. If you are getting phone harrassment, call the phone company and let them know, try to change your number and make it unlisted. Also learn some self-defense. Regards LJ

Some states have anti-stalking laws. In some states, you can swear out a criminal complaint at the DA's office. Check your county website. Another course of action is to get an injunction baring the guy from calling her or approaching her. If he violates this, he can be held in contempt of court and arrested without trial. This is very effective and often the most productive way to put him in jail. You have to be careful when you show force against a stalker. Her initial actions may cause him to escalate his. This is when she in the most danger. That is why I said buy a gun, get a concealed carry permit, and take a self defense class. I don't have time to go into the psychology of stalkers and asymmetric force. Most women in this situation tend not to do anything anyway. That's the sad part. If she needs legal aid, look for a "women's rights group." These are often lesbian-run groups of man-haters, but they can help with the injunction. She could have a TRO on Tuesday, which would be delivered by the sheriff that day. It might wake the slime ball up.
