I am posting a rather delicate issue. My ex-boyfriend gave me an STD
knowing he was infected, I had no knowledge he had it as he did not
tell me. It is one of the incurable ones, but not HIV and I will not
die. He is now dating an old friend of mine and I am tempted to tell
her so she does not get it like I did. I realize this type of behavior
goes on everyday, yet I find myself in a position to possibly prevent
my friend from contracted something incurable. Ethics I am not worried
about, legality is my concern.

The Only "Legality" Concern you could have is if Your Claim is *Not
True*... *Truth* being an ABSOLUTE Defense to any Complaint of being
"Outted" as a Carrier/Knowing Spreader of such STD...

I think you should tell your friend what happened in your case. Tell her
that you have an STD and that your ex-boyfriend told you that he has the
same STD, and said that he knew he had it before he was with you, and that
he believes (as do you) that he gave it to you. In other words, you are
just reporting what he told you and what you believe to be true based on
what he said.
I am not a lawyer so I don't know the legalities for sure.
