"First Amendment charity foundation", to pretend to be Dr. Sachs'
lawyers. As FBI documents also prove, illegal gag orders, and threats
of illegal jailing and murder, were used to keep Dr. Sachs quiet until
he escaped to freedom over the USA border. Lawyers inside the USA were
too afraid to help, citing the need to "play along with the game" for
the sake of their own careers.
Now the scandal is out in the open, under new review by the FBI and
even Supreme Court Chief Justice Rehnquist's panel on judicial ethics,
as they try to deal with this huge embarrassment for the US courts and
government. Cornwell and her lawyers now have to worry about going to
prison, for major federal crimes that were not just wicked, but
ultimately stupid as well.
