Constitutional law question

Can a State Supreme Court find an amendment to that State's
Constitution is unconstitutional? I would assume they could rely on
the US Consitution to find a part of the State Constitution invalid
(say equal protection clause) or find it invalid because of
technical reasons like they did not follow the proper rules for
amending it. But can an amendment to a state constitution be
unconstitutional under the state constitution?

Lonely ATGCATG would like to pair up with TACGTAC
for replication. UACGUAC need not respond. I don't
transcribe.
