My father was in a supermarket and hit his head on a ornament protruding
from a wall and got a pretty big cut on his head, he was bleeding
heavily at the time. He did not see a doctor yet but he has not been
feeling very well. Is their grounds for a case here? Any help would be
appreciated. This took place at Ralph's Supermarket in California.
Thankyou,

If he wasn't hurt badly enough to see a doctor, it is unlikely that he
has much he can claim.
If he was hurt badly enough that he should have seen a doctor, get him
to one promptly. Then worry about whether you can hold Ralph's
responsible. Odds are you can, but unless this was a really serious
injury, it won't be for much.
A place like a supermarket has to keep their premises safe for their
customers, even clumsy ones. Supermarket accident cases are common and
shouldn't present unusual difficulties in settling.
