Well, I didn't, expect less, but as a consolation price, the prez said
tonight that 3/4 of the Alqaeda leadership has been eliminated. Maybe
they didn't make it here in North America!?! ;-)

could happen. When it didn't you created a "boy cry wolf" situation.
The next time people hear these predictions they will be disposed to
not believe them because of this. I propose that this is EXACTLY what
you had in mind, and it is possible you, Daniel Joseph Min are in fact
an Al-Qaeda operative performing psychological operations. You could be
a force designed to make people weary of attack warnings, thereby
ignoring them and becoming victims.
Furthermore you are weaving a perception that Christians and the George
W Bush administration are insane by association. This is a common
psy-op strategy.

the last chance resolution.
Saddam didn't wait to break 5 of his commitment and breach 5 of the
clauses of 687e, besides all of the WMD ones, which 1441 called for him
to abide by completely, if he was to avoid the lifting of the cease fire.
After 1441, clauses he breached outside the WMD ones
1. He refused to give back the Kuwaitis archives
2. He refused to give back the Kuwaitis POWs
3. He threatened many times to reannex Kuwait
4. He subsidized every homicide bombers.
5. He shot at coalition planes.
Even if the weapons inspectors had not found that he was in breach in
every single freaking report that Blix put out, it still would have been
a duty for the UN to implement the serious consequences of breaching
697e, the conditions for his disarmament, even if he had beached the
last chance resolution by one breach in these.
But they found he was not in compliance about WMD as well. It wasn't at
all up to them to decide whether they could have gone further, only to
assess if the breach was there, and ALL along he was in breach in every
single one of Blix report. One breach was enough. Now their role in the
resolution was limited to WMD, and to go back to the SC to tell them if
a breach about WMD was maybe not one, and stopped there. All of their
assessments of a breach were unequivocal. gee, the guy started speaking
about anthrax one day before the invasion, and to say he had just
destroyed them when no one was looking. Come on. We don't know where he
shipped or buried them, we know that what he said about the WMD
ordinance that was used during operation Iraqi Freedom, also that he had
destroyed them when no one was looking.
but these breach about WMD were not the only ones, the other breaches I
mention above were for all the world to see.
Should the US have followed the lead of the SC members who weaseled out,
who had all signed the last chance resolution unanimously, the UN would
be now an organism that has no balls, no teeth, only an ass, to run in
front of grave and gathering threat, and Saddam would now be free to
kill hundred of thousands more, and pursue his WMD programs and his
AlQaeda connections.

What we also know is that the mastermind of 9-11 was Bin Laden alone.
Hell, even the murderers didn't know until the morning of the mass
murder what was their mission, only Atta knew, the same Atta that likely

concocted with Saddam, even though inspectors think the anthrax could

If the weasels had had the last word, the UN would have lost its edge to
implement its authorization of force according to its own condition even
with a last chance resolution. Saddam would have played out forever

It (the UN) is still very weak, and if France doesn't apologize for
blocking and opposing everything, and if China doesn't express regrets
for its passiveness, as for Russia, it did make some kind of apologetic
explanation for its unacceptable behavior, even though they should have
thought of that before signing the resolution, it will remain that way,
very weak.
Ha yes, Syria, we know is part of the terror network, should never be on
the SC to begin with, so anyway, as long as they are there, the UN SC
will still be worth nothing, not worth consulting next time around.
They are such weasels now, North Korea says "hey don't discuss my case
at the UN", and they all say, "yes Mr. Kim Jong Ill, we won't disturb
you, go back to making more, sorry for interrupting". Gee.
