From my understanding, Oregon is not a community property state. My ex-wife
incurred bills, without my knowledge, while we were married in Oregon. We
moved to Ohio, and have since divorced in Ohio. Now I am being sued in Ohio
for the bills she incurred in Oregon. Ohio is a community property state,
but it's not where the bills incurred. They are coming after me because she
now lives in North Dakota and presumably does not have income. Any
suggestions?
