Presently, the federal government has a $6 trillion debt yet provides hardly
any social benefits. What was all this money spent on? Weapons? Surely not
medical care for all Americans or free college.

Good Social programs are needed
These simple benefits make for a much better nation. They reduce the crime
rate, help all families equally and allow for much better economic growth
for everyone.
Instead of thousands of different social programs designed for different
people, a small number of simple programs which cover everyone.

a.. Every person receives proper medical care regardless of their income.

b.. All college is free, including medical school and technical school.

c.. Every unemployed person receives at least $125.00 per week. This is
regardless of whether he or she has worked in the past, and these payments
do not run out. As a result, people don't have to steal for food. Social
problems like violent crime, homelessness, prostitution and AIDS are very
low. The government actually saves money by doing this.

d.. When a woman is pregnant she receives a twelve month paid leave from
work, receiving 90 percent of normal pay.

e.. Every person receives at least five weeks of paid vacation from work
each year.

f.. A mother may take up to 2 months paid leave of absence per year to
care for a sick child, again receiving 90 percent of normal pay.

g.. The broadcast media is not allowed to air excessively violent
television programs.

h.. It is illegal to discriminate against anyone based on race, color,
sexual orientation or gender.

unrest.

When the government enacts the above social programs into law, crime and
othewr social problems in America will be reduced dramatically.
