The LLC is in Georgia. I signed the article of organization. Me and the
partner are listed as the two members. There is no other written
agreemnt, other than a email indicating that we are 50/50.

You didn't mention the name of the state in which the LLC was formed. My
guess is that the laws in your state that apply to LLC's will contain some
provision regarding a member of an LLC wanting to leave the LLC. Also, the
LLC formation document that

You are correct, getting a lawyer would have been a good idea but
regretting does not really help.
The LLC was formed legally with the state authority. Given this fact,
how can I simply walk away without dissolv
