I had my car parked on a road and a lady backed into it. She came to
the house I was staying at and told me about it. She said she would
pay for all damages and we exchanged phone numbers. I gave her an
estimate and final bill and she has only paid

My girlfriend got into a big fight the other night -- it was very physical. She
is now telling me that if i do not agree to pay her $10,000 -- she will call

Background:

Is there such a thing as a 7 year statute of limitations rule barring
a lawsuit in California. In other words can a party bring an action
against another after seven years in a dispute involving a loan of
