More than a year ago a crooked company assured me a pitched roof would solve my New Orleans leak problems and proceeded to put one on that left me with the original 2 big leaks and 3 little ones. I've tried everything to get my money back and am just ready to haul them to Civil Court--have all the papers filled in, etc. I just thought of one last resource and called a local TV channel with a customer action line. They called the owner, or manager, or whatever he calls himself today and all of a sudden this creature, who has refused to have any contact with me, is leaving sweet nothings on my answering machine. How should I proceed? I don't want these people on my roof again; what I'd ask for in CC is court costs, compensation for the time I have spent trying to bring them to justice and pain and suffering--I have a neck and shoulder disorder which worsens under stress, and stress is these guyy' middle name. This is not a nuisance suit--several thousand dollars are involved, and I have a lawyer who has sued them and won who will go pro bono to criminal court if they don't cough up in CC. zemedelec
