In New Jersey:
A friend of mine left the keys in his car, in what I think is normally
a safe n'hood, (including little or no auto-theft?), a thief stole the
car and had an accident with it. The police found the car and
returned it to my friend.

This is the problem I'm having.
I was unlawfully evicted from my home by means of self-help. I had a
purchasing agreement for the home I was renting to own and a landlord
affidavit. I never received a notice to quite or an eviction notice in
