I may have to go through a Dept. of Real Estate administrative hearing
(in California) in the future. I have some questions regarding the
law surrouding the administrative hearing procedures, which seem
unclear to me after reading CA Government Code 1

Recently refinanced my home and new mortage was sold to Wells-Fargo.
Now getting letters from old bank stating the old mortgage was not
entirely paid off when it was refinanced. Owe ~ $2000. Am I
financially responsible for this error?
