My wife and I want to get married, but there are some things we want to work
out in contract first, such as alimony/ property agreements.

Here's a little backround info: I have a have a friend who began living with
her X in 1985. They were legally wed in 1998 and are still married but are
now separated. Her husband has a pension from the Steel Workers Union in

This question is based on an occurrance in Hoosick Falls NY in
Sept 2003.
A rotten tree branch fell on a hi voltage power line, pushing
it onto a lo voltage line. That caused a power surge to zap
everyone for a mile down the line, destroying everyt
