I have owned a consuilting business for 5 years as a sole proprietor. I
have
changed my sole proprietorship to an LLC and am the only
owner/operator. In the past I had a cell phone and credit card
registered in my name for business use. Should I know get a new
credit account and cell
phone in the LLC name? The business name didn't change much, it is
old
business name with the LLC attached ot the end.
I need to start billing clients and thought I should work this out
ahead of time ;)
Also, I decided to get a new EIN number, should I have done this?
Thanks for any help.
Oh, I'm in Michigan, btw.
Thanks

I don't know if you need new accounts or can simply switch the
accounts into the name of the LLC. But you should do that, yes.

For the LLC? Yes.
