Credit card is an unsecured payment method and in the event a
chargeback, followed by bankruptcy, the question becomes how do
you get back the item that you sold, as partial or full
reimbursement for the debt? Does UCC help with this?
Actually, a chargeback would be kind of unnecessary before bankruptcy, since
the debts get discharged anyway.
You could challenge the chargeback when it happens. You could demand cash
payment or return of the item after the chargeback (though you might not get
what you want.) I suppose you could even challenge the bankruptcy.
Right now, you could try to address this issue in a contract with the buyer.
You could also use a means of payment other than credit card.
