Query Concerning Restraining Orders...

Can you file a Restraining Order against the client of private
investigators that have been hired to follow you (To get the clients to
stop hiring the private investigators)? And if the surveillance
continues, how are you able to prove the Restrainig Order has been
broken? Thanks for any replies.

That very much qualifies as a "maybe, depending on the facts and local
law" question. I'd contact a lawyer with experience in handling
domestic restraining orders.

You don't file a restraining order and then are automatically granted
one. The court issues one. That is, they aren't granted on demand. In a
claimed emergency, you can file for a temporary restraining order which
can be granted almost on demand (but you need some prima facie proof of
danger to you) which will lead to a hearing to see if a long term one
will be granted.
You need to demonstrate that conditions exist endangering you or that
the investigators' behavior rises to a level of legal nuisance before
courts here will grant you such an order of protection. The standards
for issuance vary by region. Often you need to be in fear of physical harm.
Nothing in your post indicates to me that you'd be granted a restraining
order in any jurisdiction I'm familiar with.

ALmost certainly not. Restraining orders are personal. If
the PI is harrassing you, you might be able to a restraining order
against the PI....

I think I've got the problem resolved, but, if you E-mail me
and it bounces, a second try might work.
However, please reply in newsgroup.
