Posting musicians' and artists' work on website

I have a domain name and a small website that mainly has samples of my
music, a link to purchase a cd of my music and a photo gallery of some
of my artwork.
At the site, I would like to offer to musicians and artists that they
could submit samples of their band or artwork for consideration for
display at my website. At the site, alongside of the work, would be
things like links (directed to outside of my site) to contact the band
or artist and to purchase their work, etc.
I would like to do this to help increase traffic to the site. It
basically would be meant as a platform for musicians/artists.
My questions are about potential legalities. Would putting a small
disclaimer at the site, for example, something like "By sending
materials via email for consideration for display at this website, you
understand that these materials may be rejected for consideration or,
once accepted, may be removed at anytime at the sole discretion of this
website. This website is under no obligation to accept any materials or
leave submitted materials on the website." etc.
Would this suffice, or would I have to get into a whole legal thing
about posting other people's work at my site?
In the music section, one of the things I would like to do is put up
small samples of songs, (not downloads of full songs), from each band
with links (outside of my site) to where a potential customer could
purchase the music/get info, etc.
My question regarding this is; I wouldn't know if someone had sent me
music that they didn't actually record themselves. Let's say I liked
some music that someone, in reality, took from an artist and I posted
samples of this work at my site.
My question is; for that period of time that the music was up - was I
reponsible for anything involved in that scenario? What if I posted
something like, "By submitting materials, you are claiming to be the
copyright holder(s) of these materials." Would that cover it?
This question would also apply to original artwork and Photoshopped
pictures.
I basically just want to know if I can put a brief disclaimer at the
site or do I have a whole official disclaimer/user agreement drawn up?
Thank you for any input and your time.
