I am wondering if there is any chance to improve the severence package I received three years ago from my old employer? I did sign a "general release" with many sentences similar to "no further claim" etc. etc. My feeling is I am owed more due to knowledge I now have about an employee in a similar situation at the same company. Basically, this information pertains to a years of service calculation upon which the package is calculated. Is there any chance or precedent for this action (in Canada?) Thanks for any help or ideas.
