Hello: I signed up for credit monitoring service with IdentityTrack, an operation of GE Financial Assurance. According to their privacy policy at http://www.identitytrack.com/gs/english/Privacy.asp, they collect a very broad range of personal information, including SSN, employment, health condition, habits, etc., etc., and disclose it to anyone who will ask, including "Banks, insurance or other financial companies; Retailers or direct marketers; Non-profit or social organizations", unless the customer opts out. Opting out is only in writing. In 2-3 weeks after enrollment, IdentityTrack sends a letter, which needs to be signed and sent back. Technically, until they receive from me this letter, they may have given my information to hundreds of marketers, spammers, etc. Are they legally obligated to provide me with the list of those who have received from them my personal information before I opted out? thanks
