Dangers of giving "legal advice" inadvertently
I had thought people were being paranoid, if only slightly, by using elaborate disclaimers. I usually use some kind of unambiguous statement similar to such disclaimers, although I am not (yet) a lawyer. Apparently, it's easier to get in trouble
