There is *something* amiss in the submission-forwarding machinery. It appears
that some submissions are just vanishing enroute to me. Some system folk have
looked at the forwarders and they seem to be OK, I've checked the incoming email
machinery it looks OK too. There haven't been reports of similar lost
submissions in other newsgroups that I've heard. But it is unquestionably the
case that something is amiss -- submissions are down to three or four a day, if
that. Even the *spam* to the submission mailbox has experienced a dramatic
reduction (every cloud has a silver lining..:o)).
I'm continuing to nudge the system folk to see if they can figure out what's
going on, but beyond that there's little I can do. If you believe that a
submission of yours disappeared, I'm afraid that the best I can offer is that
you'll have to resubmit it. My apologies for the inconvenience.
