A few months ago I posted an article entitled "The Truth About
Lawyers". This is not a troll, but I will probably not answer
much, since the issue expressed herein is quite clear and obvious
to anyone who has dealt with lawyers and their good ol' boy clubs.
IOW, I'm not going to waste my time talking to snakes.
In that article, which I am not going to repeat here,(shysters
aren't worth it) I put forth the proposition that, generally
speaking, the vast majority of lawyers are incompetent, dishonest,
unethical and/or all three. I know this from the best research
available-personal experience by someone aware enough to see
through their corruption, lies and lack of knowledge/skills.
I will repeat that you should avoid shyster lawyers at all cost.
Use Nolo Press self help law books which will take you through most
proceedings. Make certain your dealings are made completely clear and
that you are protected, making proceedings before a corrupt court system
with corrupt attorneys less likely. You can write your own contracts
and enforce them if neccesary, yourself. Deposits and partial/full payment
in advance can help alot here, as can prenuptial agreements. The axiom here
is an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cures and you won't get
taken to the cleaners by corrupt/incompetent lawyers/judges.
Their cheerleader organization, which essentially does little or
nothing other than push paper, put up fancy web sites, pat itself
on the back and protect lawyers is called the American Bar
Association, aka FLABA (sic).
The FLABA (falacious lard ass bull#@($ers association) refused to
release data they had on disciplinary actions against lawyers
which they collected state by state without extorting a fee from
anyone wanting this information. In other words, they were selling
information they got for free from state agencies. So much about
their concern for consumer protection (only if the consumer is a
member of the Bar,ha, ha).
Until now, after some amount of research, I thought there was
little information on the obvious sham nature of most state lawyer
disciplinary boards. Thanks to the people at
http://www.halt.org/reform_projects/lawyer_accountability we now
have some validation of facts of which most sensible people have
long known- that lawyers and their state agency flunkies are on a
par with drug dealers in the eyes of the average American, an
opinion supported by numerous polls of the least/most ethical
occupations.
This should come as no suprise considering the decadent nature of
what was once a great Country. My only regret is that I do not
have the wherewithal to escape this dieing nation to any of a
dozen countries that United Nations studies have found to be
superior in most quality of life variables. To those of use who
are growing old, I do not know if it is a consolation or a regret
that this Country, which is based on greed, corruption, deceit,led
by the puppet of evil, G.W. Bu#@($ and supported by a retarded
populace will probably hold together longer than we do.
