I really feel like I've been taken (duh) and have heard that a lawyer can't represent both sides in a divorce. Does anyone know if this is true or not? I feel that the representation I received by him was unfair and that my treatment was unjust. Do I have any recourse in reopening my case and are there statues of limitations? I'm not sure how the laws vary from state to state (I'm in Montana)and am not sure where to turn or even if I have any legal right to pursue this further. Any help would be greatly appreiciated. Thanks in advance.
Contact a lawyer today and see if you can go after that lawyer for malpractice and to protect any legal rights. You could at the minimum get a bar complaint lodged.
