I forgot to ask this ib the previos message. I am assuming that it has to cost something do conduct a wire tap on a cell phone? Do they even have to go to a judge to get one?

How easy is it for local police to get a wire tap on a cell phone? I have friend who bought a couple of grams of coke from a someone and is worried that maybe his or the guy he got the stuff from, phone may be tapped? Can they just go ahead and tap so
