Why else would he keep referring to her as the victim. http://www.denverpost.com/Stories/0,1413,36~28682~1926785,00.html Chief Judge Terry Ruckriegle ruled the notes, apparently referring to the mannerisms of the accuser in making statements to investigators, fall under the secrecy provisions of victim-advocate privilege. "It is clear ... that these notes were a record made in conjunction with the work the advocate is doing with the victim," Ruckriegle wrote in his ruling issued in advance of a two-day pre-trial hearing that begins Monday.

Just a slip of the tongue; like Pamela Mackey kept having with the accuser's name in court. Probably, the judge has access to the evidence and misspoke in a premature expression of the expectation of Kobe being proven guilty. Ya jus' never know. Chas

of course, we *expect* the defense team and prosecution to have biases; they shouldn't be tolerated from the judge, however.

If that's true, he should recuse himself. Otherwise, a mistrial is inevitable, when the defense reveals what happened.

Hey- a mistrial is as good as a not guilty verdict. That's why Haddon gets the big money. They sure are trying to suppress a lot of evidence, aren't they?
The prosecution? Sure as hell are.
I thought it was the Defense that was interested in suppressing Kobe's statements immediately after the incident happened. Seems to me they wanted to suppress the statements of his entourage also, didn't they? All of the misdirection about t-shirts and security questions is just smoke and mirrors, as regards whether he raped her or not. I wouldn't be surprised to see him dancing on his SUV next time, and complaining that he got locked in a bathroom. Chas

This is a ridiculous comparison. The attorneys are supposed to be advocates for the parties; the judge is supposed ot be impartial. I wonder if he will receive a reprimand. He's a judge, he knows better than to refer to her as anything other than either the plaintiff or the alleged victim.

Why would you think that? I doubt he was interested in trying to please a one night stand. What man is interested in doing that? I think most younger men do climax quicker, but they just do it all over again if it is someone they are interested in.

It's true. Every woman knows every other woman, and they talk. If you all have a happy time, the good word spreads and one may find the girl of his dreams when her turn comes- until then, they're *all* 'one-night-stands'. God bless'em; like little rays of sunshine amongst the bleak days of beer, sports and working on the truck. Chas

Good grief. Who is talking about me or anyone I know? I am giving a reason for Kobe's so-called premature ejaculation. I doubt he was interested in pleasing the girl. Please differentiate when we are talking about Kobe or when we are talking about ourselves. Someone bashed Kobe, so I gave a reasonable explanation. You do not say someone is a premature ejaculator when you only know of one encounter. We aren't talking about you or me, but the guy who referred to Kobe. I happen to think men are fantastic.

What the Judge thinks matters little or nothing! He does not determine the facts of the case. That is the realm of the Jury.
