prenuptial agreement

Does a will take precedence over a prenuptial agreement.
The is a CD that the deceased owned in his name before and during marriage.
There's a prenuptial says the premarital assets remain with each party.
The will says that the wife is to get 1/2 of premarital assets and his
children get 1/2.
The children say that they should get it all since it was a premarital
asset.
Who's right?
