Hi all, How many employees do you must have to have workers compensation insurance in California? I currently have three permanent employees, but don't have workers compensation insurance. Am I violating the law? Please advise. Thank you.

Deducting My Deductible
Am I allowed to deduct the $1,000 deductible as a "casualty and theft" loss on my federal income taxes? The form asks for the cost of the vehicle and the FMV before/after accident, so what figures do I enter since the car was repaired?
