Oh, I agree. You should read the transcripts -- I may not have time
to fetch them now. It is not really as impossible as you think.
They have a number of key people by threat or inducement, or simply
down the "old boys network" from one of their pet lawyers. One of
the happened to be chair of the bar association at the time.
It is not as far separated as saying "they have a lot of influence
in the courts, and control the chair of the Audobon Society too":
THAT would be an odd connection. But the distance from lawyers and
judges to any other centre of power in state government or law
enforcement is not far, to their own bar association rather obvious.
It is very strange hearing the chair of the bar association,
Donald (?)Wager or something, admitting all the facts of suborning
perjury from a homosexual prostitute in the cases being reviewed...
yet he is the COMPLAINANT and gets the other guy suspended for
zealously assisting his client.
I would not agree with every extreme term Berry uses, but I think
the facts he cites speak for themselves. There is an executive summary,
arrowed, after the (very long) table of contents.
