I mean if we're gonna be consistent about things. The male-female union is special only because it produces kids. Childless "married" couples are as much an abomination as same-sexers. To be married, the man and women should be required to first produce a child and then swear under oath that they are either the biological parents or were given the child thru a state-certified adoption agency. I don't agree with same sex marriages, or inter-racial marriages, but equal rights means equal rights and we must defend the constitution before we defend the morals of a christian cult that has a divorce rate of over 50%.
