I work for an established corporation with over 16 companies and oever
750 employees. The division I work "offered" direct deposit about 6
months ago go as far as everyone submitting the proper legal forms and
voided checks etc. However, the accounting deparment refuses to put
in the time to get the direct deposit done. Its extremely aggrivating
to about 90% of the shop who have been waiting at least 10 years for
this. Is there anything I can do to force their hand? I think it is
only this division that refuses to do it. Is there a way I can set up
my own direct deposit? Thanks.

Depends on state law, and the answer is more likely than not "no".
Usually all state law requires is that employees be paid in full, in
some form that they can cash and spend. It doesn't say what form.
