This whole same sex issue would be a lot clearer if we recognized that
marriage is for raising kids. As long as we take the view that
marriage is just two people living together with state or church
approval, then it's hard to deny homos the right too.

methods. More and more Gay couples are adopting children and every
indication is that they are at least as good parents as so called "straight"

"American divorce rate" found. This is just a measure
of how many marriages end end in divorce.
The statistic simply compares the number of marriages
to the number of divorces the occur within the same time period.
This is NOT a measure of the number of divorced people.
The only way to determine that is by matching individuals to
divorce and marriage records. This is not going to happen anytime soon!
