OT - Question "WHOIS"

"Ben"

Hi. Is it legal to post the WHOIS data about a domain registration in a newsgroup?
When I say legal, I mean legal by govt. law. Not legal by charter.

It is publicly available information. So I dont believe there are any legal laws against it.

In the USA it's considered public domain info and is thus free to publish by
any means. Other countries YMMV.
