The moderator whose name escapes me mentioned that fat little il duce Scalia
had recused himself because he painted himself into a corner by ranting in
public and expressing an opinion against Newdow's case. Typical cathalick
interleckchul, that Scalia. You'd think he'd have the decency to recuse
himself from the Supreme Court case in which Dick Cheney is a party since
they are such chummy hunting buddies and all.
What was really funny during this CSPAN "show" were the various fundies from
around the country calling in and spewing their anger at Newdow over the
phone, demanding he leave the country, "which is founded on the Christian
religion." Hell, you'd think -- to hear them --- that Jesus himself
founded it and was living near the temple in Salt Lake City. One of them
invited him to depart for Canada. Is there one goddamned christian in the
whole wide world who can use logic and reason to advance his argument, or
who isn't bound and determined to apply revisionist history to support his
cause?
I think you are referring to a different show, as the one *I*
referred to had NO call-ins and did NOT include Hasson. And
there was no mention of Scalia. The show I linked to was a tape
of a one-hour forum.
