For some odd reason, in this area they use a 15 day notice and claim it's
legal.
Stay beyond that, the judge automatically grants 30.
And of course you researched that as soon as you moved in since you had been
evicted from your prior address.
When I first moved in here, I was told "5 day notice".
Bull#@($. State law says 28. The 5 days has to do with the maximum allowed
time for the landlord to mail a copy.
Using any search engine. plug in, your state and "eviction notices" and
see
what you get.
If you said what state you're in, perhaps someone can help you more
specifically.
If you get evicted again do you plan to let the money go unpaid like you did
last time?
