Although this year has been incredibly difficult for me personally, I can only imagine the pain she has had to endure. I also want to apologize to her parents and family members, and to my family and friends and supporters, and to the citizens of Eagle, Colo. Although I truly believe this encounter between us was consensual, I recognize now that she did not and does not view this incident the same way I did. After months of reviewing discovery, listening to her attorney, and even her testimony in person, I now understand how she feels that she did not consent to this encounter. I issue this statement today fully aware that while one part of this case ends today, another remains. I understand that the civil case against me will go forward. That part of this case will be decided by and between the parties directly involved in the incident and will no longer be a financial or emotional drain on the citizens of the state of Colorado.''

What evidence? Even the prosecution's own HIRED expert said their evidence was weak. Meanwhile, the prosecution's own CBI is testifying for the defense. Basically TWO experts from the prosecution switched sides. He refused to plea to a lesser charge. However, a simple statement, written by his lawyers was enough to get the case tossed. -- "The Federal Reserve(Banks) are one of the most corrupt institutions the world has ever seen. He obviously just said that as part of the agreement to drop the criminal case. And his statement says that he did NOT know the sex was NOT consensual. He just said that he has now realized she didn't think it was consensual, meaning she probably didn't like him ejaculating on her face. Who cares. Never should have been a case at all.

He hasn't confirmed anything. His lawyers just said his statements were a condition for her dropping out of the case. He had his lawyers read a letter prepared by John Clune while he was home with his family. Sounds like they pleaded with him to take the deal. Have your lawyer read this letter, and we'll drop out. Face, it, Kate Faber refused to be cross examined. Dr. Baden has become a defense witness (now for the civil trial) CBI says Kate Faber had sex after Kobe and lied about it, and Kate Faber is willing to take a letter in exchange for being "raped". She's a liar, and she got exposed. Next step, expose her in civil court where there is no rape shield law. Finally, we can find out which man left semen on her neck.

I take it you haven't been around a woman much if you think a woman's signals are always clear. Take this test. A woman sneaks into your hotel room late at night. I think given all that's happened you're going a little overboard with your [almost said something rude], but in this particular instance at least, Bryant has shown himself to be a bigger man than many who defend him here. If he weasels on his apology later, of course, consider the above void.

I know Colorado law. Pleading no contest is the same as pleding guilty but not saying you are guilty. I'm speaking metaphorically, not literally. Sounds like he is apologizing(but wait he didn't do anything) and there is a deal in the works. His statement doesn't wash. The whole thing is sordid and all involved are #@($ty people. It is not like he knew this girl for a long period of time and developed some relationship and then slept with her, he took it pretty casual which suggests he was comfortable with it.
