http://abclocal.go.com/kabc/news/090704_nw_bryant.html Speaking to ABC News' Good Morning America (GMA) this morning, John Clune says Bryant's alleged victim has no regrets about her decision to abandon the criminal case. "You know she feels good about that decision. She's a pretty remarkable young woman, and throughout this case she's really had difficulty after difficulty to overcome, and this is just the most recent one and she's feeling better and better every day about that decision," says Clune. Clune was referring to a series of court mistakes that led to the public disclosure of the accuser's name and other personal information. The final straw apparently came during jury selection. Clune told GMA, "There were some things that happened very late in the game. As we went into jury selection there was yet another leak, a leak of the jury questionnaire which also had an attached witness list...it seems to be leaked by the court." Clune says Bryant's apology to the 20-year-old woman after the dismissal is a clear sign the evidence against him was strong. ".even his attorney had stated that that statement was done for the price of freedom and that tells a lot about what Mr. Bryant and his defense team felt about the evidence that was against him had it gone forward to trial," said Clune.

Which is garbage, because her name was common knowledge LONG before any of those courthouse mistakes occurred.

This one should be one of the first against the wall.

Lets think about how good a sign this was.... Kobe had a offer to plead to a misdemeanor simple assault (I take this to be what someone would get for punching someone in a bar fight) with NO JAIL time, he refused. Then, this offer was read these words and not only will their be no criminal case and possible jail time, but you also get to save yourself on the millions that it would cost to defend against. -- http://www.majorityreportradio.com/weblog/archives/ Bush%20%20Tribal%20Sovereignty.mp3 "Conservatives love their country the way a four-year-old loves their mommy. No, his offer was sign a letter that Lin Wood wrote. Kobe never read. Mackey never read it. It was handed out after the case was dismissed. I have the transcript.

If they were that strong, how come your client dropped out of the case? Nice try.
