http://releases.usnewswire.com/GetRelease.asp?id=37737 DETROIT, Oct. 7 /U.S. Newswire/ -- Laie Weatherwax, a defense witness in the Kobe Bryant case will file a lawsuit on Oct. 20, 2004 which shall name the alleged victim in the Kobe Bryant rape case as a defendant. The lawsuit shall also name her attorneys Lin Wood and John Clune as defendants. In addition, Jeffrey Scott Shapiro, who is an associate of Bryant's accuser, as well as other persons and entities will also be named as defendants in this action. Said civil lawsuit is scheduled to be filed on Oct. 20, 2004 naming Bryant's accuser, her attorneys L. Lin Wood and John Clune, and Jeffrey Scott Shapiro as defendants in an action being brought by Laie Weatherwax. Ms. Weatherwax had previously testified for Kobe Bryant as part of the Rape Shield Hearings that were held earlier this year. Weatherwax was also scheulded to testify at the criminal trial before it was dismissed. The compliant with regard to Weatherwax's lawsuit shall be filed on Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 20, 2004 in Wayne County Circuit Court, Detroit, Mich.
