We are preparing to release details of testimony from the Rape Shield
Hearings, information that others who testified at the Rape Shield Hearings
have provided, and never before released information regarding facts about
Laie's relationship with Kate Faber.
Three broadcast networks have already offered between 1 and 2 hours of
continuous air-time to allow this interview on the facts between Kate Faber
and Laie to take place. They have also agreed to provide facilities where an
independent polygraph exam would be given to both Kate Faber and Laie after
the interview on facts concluded.
Both Laie and Kate would submit to a polygraph exam administered by an
independent examiner on any information that was in dispute.
Laie and Kate would return the following day for a followup interview to
discuss, if any, questions that they failed during the polygraph exam.
We've given Kate Faber, Lin Wood, and John Clune more than enough time to
agree to a live network interview between Kate and Laie.
They have chosen to ignore the offers, while at the same time causing
irreparable harm to Laie.
So here is what will take place.
If Kate Faber, Lin Wood, or John Clune don't contact us prior to Thursday,
October 21, 2004 at 5:00 p.m. Laie will then begin to release detailed
information regarding direct testimony from the Rape Shield Hearings and
about her past relationship with Kate Faber.
The first article regarding this information will address Laie and other
witness testimony provided at the Rape Shield Hearing. For the record, since
the case has been dismissed at the request of Kate Faber, the gag order is
no longer valid.
We will publish the first article, in a series of articles, Every other
Wednesday until they either agree to the live interview, or all the
information is distributed.
The first of these articles shall be published on Wednesday, October 28,
2004. The only way this will not occur, and this series of articles won't be
published, is if Kate Faber agrees to the offer of a Live Televised
interview followed by an independent polygraph exam.
