Un American Practice....Just like Tobacco class action suits~why
shouldn't Flu Vaccine be made in America and be available in this
Critical Health Crisis where people will die, not get to work and
such...all of which will create financial problems for
all....Irresponsible Health care reckless and Indifferent Attitude of
government...or Administration~Country Club government....
Flu vaccine is a long lead time item.
There is no continuing revenue stream
and you have to start from scratch every year.
In short, the market won't support more manufacturers
than there are now unless you want to pay the cost of
having over capacity as a matter of policy.
Note that the current situation is not the result of
inadequate manufacturing capacity, its a question of
contamination in a foreign plant.
