ID's valid in Texas?

My Mom lives in Texas, and I live out of state.
I have been named in her will as executor of her will and estate.
To fulfill my duties as executor of her will, when she passes away, I
will travel to Texas.
To accomplish this task of being executor, I am sure that I will need
good means of identifying myself.
I have a picture type driving license for my state of residence. What
else would work in Texas as a valid ID? I think I would like to be
able to present three "Texas accepted" identifications.
I will be dealing with a couple of banks, Merrill Lynch, Social
Security office, places like that.
Thank you........ Lee Carkenord

I don't think this will be a big problem if nobody is contesting your
identity when the will is admitted to probate, but if you want to be sure,
contact the clerk of a probate court in the county where the will will be
probated and ask if there are any special ID requirements the judge has
before admitting a will to probate and call the county clerk and ask what
kind of ID they need to issue "letters testamentary," which is what the
banks require to open estate accounts. (Just google something like "_____
county clerk texas" and their webpage will probably come up.) Can also call
some of the instiutions you expect to do business with for their
requirements.
