Expert witness?

I need an expert witness to testify as to the value of two (2) Motorola Radius
low-band mobiles and five (5) Motorola moxy mobiles in a Kansas City area court
case. None of these radios have mics/accessories, none of the Moxy's work. Does
anyone know where I can find such a person to testify as an expert witness?

Ks,
If by value you mean appraised value then perhaps an appraiser can help.
Look in the phonebook.
Good luck,

This sounds like a job for an established 2-way radio person in KC.
The yellow pages (or local equivalent) category listings for "radio -
two way" or a similar heading wouldn't be a bad place to start. There
must a handful if not a dozen sizeable operators in that major city to
tap into. I live in a little town in Fla. and could easily find a dozen
within 70 miles I could call on tomorrow.

Those sound like business band commercial radios.
Assuming by low band you mean 30-50mhz range.
Check your yellow pages probaby under radios>commercial>business.
Call around and ask the dealers if they could take a look at the radios and
give a fair market value on them.
Probably all you would need is a notarized statement from several.
If you were in cincinnati, I could give you a dozen names to try out.
Oh and it wouldn't hurt to ask Motorola for an estimate as well.
