I'm banned by my local council

My local council have banned my local councillors from talking to me and
also banned me from asking questions at Council meetings - both things that
according to their constitution I have the right to do.
So I decided to put a couple of websites up
The council in question is Babergh District Council (Suffolk)
I got 2 great domains www.babergh.net and www.patriciarockall.co.uk (second
one is the Chief Executives name)
The site is simple and just out lines that the Chief Executive, head of
Housing and others lied to cover up staff drunk whilst at work (we even have
the minutes of the meeting at which they discussed this)
I also called them LIARS in nice big letters
So should I expect legal action ?
Not according to the Chairman of the Council. She says "we can't take legal
action due financial constraints" !
Any thoughts ?
Regards
Stuart

Be careful about those domains. Is there any possibility that
someone could be confused that your domain is the official website
of the Babergh District Council or belongs to Patricia Rockall? If
the point is to get the word out, you'd be less likely to get shut
down if you picked a domain with YOUR name in it.

In the USA, truth is a defense to libel and slander. I am not a
lawyer and I don't know UK law. But you'd better be able to prove
it, and you might well win the battle but lose the war if you have
to sell your house to pay for the litigation.
