Judge Mathis proof of working

Judge Mathis asked a babysitter for proof of the days she worked. How
could you ever prove you did babysitting? Should a babysitter do
something to get proof of working?

I've seen a few of his shows and he's a true class clown.
Do you think he'd really get away with his BS in a real court?
Sure. The babysitter should video tape the whole thing.
If the parents had no babysitter, they could be charged with child
endangerment or something.
I wonder how many other jobs like that where the person is paid entirely in
cash, and has no real proof of working, there are in this world.
It's a contract. Failure to pay the agreed upon amount is a breach.

I like Judge Mathis.
Anyway, if Richard's comments didn't help you (as I expect might be the
case), you can do a number of things to provide proof.
First, you can avoid situations like this by acting in advance. You could
create a journal or something where they sign off that you worked on such a
date and paid you so much money. You could ask to be paid with a check. You
could ask for a receipt or something else.
Having no proof of this sort, you could provide other evidence to prove you
babysat on certain days. Perhaps you wrote those dates on a calendar or you
have email messages from the person you sat for. Maybe you have phone
records showing them calling your house or your cell phone on days prior to
the babysitting. Maybe you have discussed your babysitting with friends or
family, maybe they drove you to baby sit. They could be witnesses. Maybe a
neighbor of the person saw you at the house babysitting. Perhaps you can
show deposits to a bank account on the days you babysat. Maybe you have
receipts from the pizza guy who delivered to that house on a certain day.
You could even consider calling your own cell phone from the house you are
sitting at to create proof that you were there if you are particularly
worried about it.
However, once again, being prepared in advance is better than trying to
reconstruct records.

Judge Joe Brown is better. He's cool.
