Actually the Democratic party through them out at the 1968 convention.
They really didn't get fully incorporated into the GOP until the
Reagan revolution (himself a former Democrat). No one needs a
political party to practice racism, but they have mostly gone along

I'm sorry, but I can't imagine the Klan was supporting Kerry, at least
in Louisiana. Okay, I admit that I have not been back to Louisiana
lately, but it pretty much flipped about fifteen years ago from
Democrat to Republican, and the idea of any of the Klan members I had
the misfortune to meet supporting Kerry is inconceivable to me.
Take off your diapers and be an adult for the first time in
your life, instead of whining for the government to solve all
your problems.
Take off your panties for the first time in your life and stop the
government from creating all your problems.
