Hi I am interested in purchasing an automobile from a private
individual. However, when I ran the VIN against autocheck.com, this
comes up which is sort of alarming. What does it mean and are there any
potential dangers? Thanks in advance.

Take the info to your local police office and let them run a check on it.
The seller may not be aware of the theft, as the report only says "found".
Somewhere in the history of the vehicle it was stolen, and it may be
perfectly legitimate now.
www.carfax.com
I think you'll get a better report.
I used them on one vehicle and they gave me a good detailed listing of the
vehicle history.
Along with how much the vehicle was worth.
