Call your former attorney's office. If "this" $732 is the same money
as "that" $732, your attorney will tell you that he deposited the
money with the state controller as abandoned property. If that's
true, call the Florida state controller (or whichever agency is in
charge of that in Florida) and ask. If this is a different $732, then
it could be on deposit in any state and you might have difficulty
finding it. In my state, you can search for your name online at the
state controller's website. I suppose other states have the same
procedure. You could start searching, or you could go along with the
NM company. If you don't have to pay the $200 in advance, then that
may be the simplest way to get $532. If the company wants you to pay
cash in advance, I would be worried about a scam. But by itself,
there is nothing suspicious about a company notifying you that they
have located abandoned money. There are legitimate companies that do
that.

Those online services only reflect what is in public records.
That is, federal, state, and city records.
NOT, within private companies.
Then, they can't guarantee that information will be available online.
Just call the attorney and ask him what gives.
