To legally trained people (e.g., myself, jls), and/or with a level of
relevant expertise (jls, Kent), the justice system appears to be working
almost perfectly in Cam's case. The State didn't rush to judgment, but
did the kind of legwork you'd expect in a capital murder case. There is
certainly room for improvement (e.g., I'd prefer some requirement that a
suspect must be indicted before he could be incarcerated), but Cam has a
panoply of remedies he could invoke to guard against unjust prosecution.
He has first-rate representation and as such, his rights are more likely
to be adequately protected than if he were indigent.
In which case they are using their power not to serve justice, but rather to
commit INJUSTICE -- i.e., they have conspired against God. Who the victim is
is immaterial.
Unless, of course, that victim is Ken Smith -- at which point, Ted is
inclined to not only approve of injustice but actually revel in it.

I put together the website, plus quite a number of other things with her
picture for the lawyers. You have absolutely no idea about how much it hurt
to put these things together.

injure me, I have every right to rejoice in your pain and anguish. What

I have every right to taunt you, to ridicule you, and to relish in
the fact that you're on the business end of misfortune WHICH IS
INDISPUTABLY CAM'S OWN DAMN FAULT!!! There aren't any overzealous bar
examiners here trying to justify their existence (there's no shortage
of murders in the Basin), judges 'protecting' their colleagues, or laws
flagrantly broken. And even if there were, it shouldn't matter one
whit, as you had exactly no sympathy for me when laws were broken
flagrantly in my case.
Indeed, you have persistently taunted me on that account.
I hope Patty enjoys the big, black dildo you must have lent her, and
she hasn't had to jump the bones of some swarthy man at the 7-11 to be
satisfied. But that's the way life is in the big city, and if you make
poor life-choices like knocking up a bimbo out of wedlock and bolting,
and then take your illegitimate spawn to the edge of a cliff where she
can amble over the edge because you are *so* intellectually challenged
that you can't recognize *obvious* dangers, I daresay that we shouldn't
shed a tear for the family if bad things happen.
It must suck inconceivably to be behind bars for fourteen months, but
the law *demands it* under these circumstances, and it cannot be fairly
said on the facts as presented heretofore that Cam has not received the
process he is due. And if you do not demand justice for me, why should
we care if Cam doesn't receive what he isn't even entitled to under law?
Still, if there was a sufficient quantum of credible evidence that a
case was being manufactured against Cam on account of his involvment in
a kiddie porn operation, a drug deal gone bad, or other various and/or
sundry reasons that would constitute a motive for official retaliation,
I'd say it. That's what distinguishes me from you, Ted -- nothing will
ever disturb your immaculate preconceptions.

the daughter AS A PERSON, what she liked, what she was like. Guess she
means nothing to you as well Kaldis.
