? - if you're in the US and can't get a home loan you must have a
really awful credit record. people only a couple years past bankruptcy
can get mortages for houses.
you get rid of a tax lien by paying it off. if you have something in
your credit history that's in error, you need to write a letter to the
cerdit bureaus and protest it.
a tax lien is not nonsense, sounds like you have some serious problems
you need to clear up. if you have a tax lien what's it on, other than
real estate ?

have talked to about 10 different loan people all said something about
the tax lien showing on the credit.. this is from 1991, thought tht
would go away.... I am trying to buy property thought getting a loan
would be easier than it has I make plenty of money.....
I do have several things on the CR that are in error things I have paid
but for some reason a commection agency decided to get revenge because I
paid directly to vendor not to or through them.....
HELP why has it been so difficult to get a loan

Is the lien filed in the County where you want to buy the property?
If so, no lender woudl take a second priority position to a tax lien.

theres gotta be some lender who would lend.
I normally go out of my way topay what people I owe except in cases of
disputes, I give em a chance to respond, if they don't I will withold
payment....often that gets attention...
I need to go into the lending business, I will lend to ANYONE if you
cant get a loan from anyone else, you can get one from me......
