Researching a real estate lawyer?

I'm trying to research a specific real estate lawyer. I want
to make sure the lawyer I am considering has no complaints against him
or is a real lawyer. Are there any resources to do the search online?
Frans Wiete Ter Haar recently gave a free real estate planning
seminar. He charges singles $1500, and couples $2000. If you have a
free consultation within 2 weeks, he gives 10% discounts. I have to
assume this is a good deal, since real lawyers make fun of those $395
living trust seminars.

Forget the seminar. If you want a living trust go to the yellow pages and shop
around.

Check out http://www.martendale.com/
Use this Locator to find a lawyer by name. Or click the tabs to search by
location/area of practice, by firm, or for lawyers in corporations, agencies
of the US government, or law school faculty.
Also check out the list of State Bar Associations:

Good luck,
